Eligibility – New Zealand Stream
- Hold a New Zealand Special Category Visa
- Lived in Australia for at least 5 years
- Started living in Australia on or before 19 February 2016

- Submit Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect
- Receive invitation and lodge visa
- Visa grant after assessment process
Extended Stay
Subclass 189 is a permanent visa. You can stay in Australia indefinitely. The travel component is valid for 5 years from the date of visa grant.
