Subclass 491 allows skilled workers to live, work and study in designated regional areas of Australia for 5 years. After meeting income and residency requirements for 3 years, you may apply for permanent residency. Invitation to apply is required.

Extended Stay & PR Pathway
Subclass 491 is valid for 5 years with rights to live and work full time in regional Australia. After 3 years of meeting income and regional residency conditions, holders can apply for permanent residency in Australia.
